<匯港通訊> 英國首相施紀賢表示，伴隨著美國所謂對等關稅生效，大家所知道的世界已經不復存在。他說將繼續推動與美國達成經濟協議，以避免部分關稅。
施紀賢又說，英國政府已經準備好介入，使用產業政策幫助英國企業，保護英國經濟免受美國關稅的影響。
施紀賢說，英國將努力加強與其他國家的聯盟，削减貿易壁壘，同時尋求與華盛頓進一步談判達成貿易協議。
