花雕雞據說最早是台酒為了清陳年花雕的庫存，才研發的產品，雞肉偏柴也是為了長期保存下的妥協，剛出時陳年的酒香確實不錯，後來量大後就只是普通花雕了，挺可惜的。另外有一款雪菜的味道也不錯，都屬於日常小麵店較少吃得到的
